MEET LAURENS BENSDORP
Laurens Bensdorp is the founder and CEO of Trading
Mastery School and the author of The 30-Minute
Stock Trader: The Stress-Free Trading Strategy for Financial
Freedom.
He began his career as a whitewater rafting guide and instructor, working in Germany, Austria, Turkey, Israel,
the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, and Chile.
In 2000 laurens Bensdorp sold his Mexican rafting company to work as an investment manager at a boutique firm in the Netherlands.
Unhappy in a corporate environment, and with no formal training in mathematics or finance, Laurens Bensdorp undertook his own multi-year study of successful trading, educating himself about trading and risk management.
He spent the next decade refining automated, algorithm-driven trading platforms to maximize profits while limiting risk and keeping management time to virtually zero.
Since 2007, he has never had a negative year and between 2007 and 2019, his risk-adjusted return has been five times better than the S&P 500.
Laurens Bensdorp was featured in Van Tharp’s book Trading Beyond the Matrix.
He is the only author who teaches, through his company Trading Mastery School, trading with combined, systematized, automated systems, according to your personality and presently trades a combination of more than fifty systems himself.
Fluent in six languages, Laurens Bensdorp, if not traveling, lives with his family in southern Spain.
He and his wife Madelin are founders of the Happy
Colombia foundation, which helps high school students in Colombia obtain educational scholarships.
